Cool game. As it is, in the alpha version, I feel like it has more appeal towards mobile players than desktop, being so grindy and timewastey towards the end. Maybe that'll be different in the full release. I enjoyed it.
Yo you these are suggestions but if you want you can add them : Turning off/on Automatic Cutting, Running, Difficulty, And lastly, Sliding, You don't have to add these, But if you want you can.
Is there somewhere you're supposed to spend coins after building the first gem tower? I picked up a full hand without realizing there was nowhere to put them, and now can't pick up anything else. The recycling bin doesn't seem to accept coins either.
Just reopened the game and spawned in to check. I had put some coins into the tower earlier (if that's what you meant by loading it) but that was before I maxed out.
May I ask how you beat the bosses after the third one without building towers - the red ones with the orange crystals on top? Maybe it’s a bug; I should double-check it. Thanks for reporting!
I guess I am in the late game. I have nothing to spend my coins on, but my arms are full of coins and I can't dispose them in the trash can. So I am stuck, cause I can't pickup swords/shields to equip my warriors :(
There's absolutely an uncomfortable amount of monetisation present, particularly when this seems to be presented toward younger kids Even just on the game side it would need some very basic upgrades, deciding where to go faster, being able to put equipment down and either waiting for all pieces or just being able to put down more - as it stands, every signpost you get is a further delay between spawning and actually going to do their job Again, way too much marketing, makes it seem suspect, but otherwise would have to see if the game holds true to anything it claims to work toward

If you mean in-game coins used to buy upgrades, those are just reward items you get from boss fights.
If you mean real monetization (for real money), we don’t have any - ❤️ THE GAME IS FULLY FREE ❤️. If you don't mind - please send me a screenshot of what it looks like on your side - I’m very interested to see it.
If you mean the “Here is our Steam link” rewarded action, we’re just letting players know that we’re working on a full game that’s coming soon. The same is about our YouTube Dev Diaries where we filming the development process, maybe someone like content like that.
Anyway, I’m happy to update the game so it doesn’t mislead players into thinking there’s monetization, since it’s FULLY FREE. And thanks for the basic upgrade ideas - I appreciate it.
I think what they meant was the “Tasks” page with all the “subscribe to our socials,” “join our Discord,” and “oh, and play some random game on another website” stuff - at least that’s what I assume they mean.
While I fully agree it’s pretty clear there’s no monetization anywhere in the game and that it’s very obviously free, even to kids, I also feel like this reward system leaves a bad taste in an otherwise really fun and unique game. While it’s completely up to you to decide what to include, I honestly think the game is better off without it. I noticed it immediately too, and it instantly reminded me of those crappy phone games where you get a boost after watching an ad.
Anyhow, this is just my opinion. That said, I really liked the game and I’ve already wishlisted it :)
I love the concept, but i think it needs some QoL. Like i have 10 sword in my hand, but i cant make them use them because i also have 5 shields that will go first. Maybe a different stand for each type of equipment and you can choose if they will skip some of them? Idk
Sounds like a great idea. We solved the issue in the full version of the game a slightly different way, but your idea of separate storage for different types of items is a good one - like storage zones in Rimworld or Dwarf Fortress. Thanks a lot for sharing, and please let us know what you think about our solution when the Steam playtests start.
No, no, it was us - we officially published the game on CrazyGames as well :) From our experience, they’re really nice guys. I can’t say anything negative about the platform or the team.

Interesting game so far, I love the art style and the automation gameplay seems fun, but it needs some improvements.
There is an issue where coins or other items would get deposited into different things I didn't want to upgrade because I walked too close to it or I would pick up items I didn't mean to. Also trying to put a sword, shield and armor on the stand for the fighters is difficult because you can only put 9 items on there, which means you would need 3 of each, but you always pick up as many as you can carry whenever you walk pass (maybe you could put it some sort of button that would pick up the items or something).
Unfortunately, the game glitched out and broke on me, I was crafting metal swords and the boss died. This left my character going (needs metal) over and over again and unable to move. Even tried reloading, but I can't move.
I see a whole lot of potential here and I'm really looking forward to seeing where this goes. I really love the art style and the music is good too! Keep at it and I really hope things go excellent with the game going up on Steam!

You can get out of bounds with a hit from a boss. Is there any way I can recover my playthrough?

You can load the Tower with coins. each coin deals 9 damage or so)

Fun game, but at one point, my character just stopped moving. I could click around on stuff, but the click-and-drag stopped working.

It's that misleading mobile ad you always wanted to play. But now it's a full game and it has Adventure Time visuals (awesome looking, btw).
